Plans change. Cancel 7 or more days before check-in and you get everything back. See also our terms & conditions.
1.How much is refunded
| If you cancel | You get back |
|---|---|
| 7 or more days before check-in | Full refund |
| 3 to 7 days before check-in | 50% refund |
| Less than 3 days before check-in, or a no-show | No refund |
“Days before check-in” are counted to 3 PM India time (IST) on your arrival date. For example, for a check-in on 20 March, cancel before 3 PM on 13 March for a full refund, or before 3 PM on 17 March for 50%. Your confirmation email lists the exact deadlines for your booking.
The refund is a percentage of the total you paid. If you booked more than one room, each room is treated the same way.
2.How to cancel
Reply to your confirmation email, write to doksabnb@gmail.com, or message us on WhatsApp. Include your name and the booking reference from your confirmation email.
Your cancellation counts from the time we receive your message, not when we reply. We'll confirm it in writing, along with the amount being refunded.
3.When the refund arrives
We start the refund within 2 working days of your cancellation. It goes back to the card, UPI account or bank you paid with, through our payment provider Razorpay.
Banks usually take 5 to 7 working days to show it in your account. UPI refunds are often faster. If it hasn't arrived after 10 working days, contact us and we'll send you the refund reference to share with your bank.
4.Changing your dates
Want different dates? Ask us before cancelling. If you ask 7 or more days before check-in, we'll move your booking at no charge, as long as a room is free for the new dates. If the new dates cost more, you pay the difference; if they cost less, we refund it.
Closer to arrival, a date change is treated as a cancellation under the table above plus a new booking.
5.Leaving early or arriving late
Nights you don't use after you've checked in, or because you arrive later than booked, aren't refunded. If you're running late, please let us know so we can hold your room.
6.Weather, landslides and road closures
Mountain travel can be unpredictable. If an official road closure, landslide or natural disaster means you can't reach Manali, contact us as soon as you can. We'll do our best to move your stay to new dates, even inside the normal cancellation window.
We recommend travel insurance for trips to the hills, especially in the monsoon (July to September) and in winter.
7.If we have to cancel
In the rare case we can't host you (for example, a fault that makes the room unusable, or the same dates being booked twice through another site), we'll tell you straight away and refund everything you paid. Where we can, we'll also help you find somewhere nearby.
8.Bookings made on Airbnb
This policy covers bookings made on doksa.in. If you booked through Airbnb, Airbnb's cancellation policy for that listing applies, and cancellations and refunds go through Airbnb.
