Doksa Homestay (“Doksa”, “we”, “us”) is a family-run homestay at 13/1 ward no. 7 Gonpa rd. Manali 175131, HP, India. These terms apply to every booking made on doksa.in and to your stay with us. By paying for a booking you agree to them, along with our cancellation policy and privacy policy.

• The person making the booking must be at least 18 and will be the main guest responsible for the booking.
• Prices are in Indian rupees and include everything for the room: no GST or service charges are added. The price shown at checkout is the amount you pay.
• Bookings are paid in full when you book, through Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details.
• Your booking is confirmed only when payment succeeds and you receive our confirmation email. If two guests pay for the same room at the same moment, the later payment is refunded in full automatically.
• Prices can vary by date. Longer stays get a weekly or monthly discount, applied automatically and shown before you pay. Online bookings are for up to 30 nights and up to a year ahead; for longer stays, contact us.
• Same-day bookings close at 12 PM India time.
• If we make an obvious pricing mistake, we'll contact you and you can choose a full refund or the correct price.

• Each room sleeps up to 4 guests. The room price covers 2 adults; each further adult, and each child, pays an extra-guest fee per night, which includes extra bedding and is shown before you pay.
• Only guests registered on the booking may stay overnight. Visitors are welcome in the day with notice.
• Everyone staying must show a valid government photo ID at check-in (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID). Guests from outside India must show their passport and visa; we are required by law to register foreign guests with the authorities (Form C).
• We may refuse check-in if ID isn't provided, or if more guests arrive than were booked and the room can't fit them.

• Check-in is from 3 PM; check-out is by 11 AM.
• Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability. Ask us in advance; a late check-out may carry a fee.
• Please tell us your arrival time, especially if you'll arrive late in the evening.

Our guest handbook sets out the house rules. In short:

• No smoking indoors; balconies are fine.
• Quiet hours at night, and care in shared areas.
• No illegal substances on the premises.
• Please sort your trash into the wet and dry bins.

If a guest seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, puts others at risk, or damages the property, we may ask them to leave without a refund.

• You're responsible for damage, breakage or loss caused during your stay, including linens and equipment. We'll show you the cost before charging it.
• A replacement fee applies for lost keys.
• Cleaning beyond the normal turnaround is charged at cost.
• Please look after your belongings. We aren't liable for loss or theft of personal items, except where caused by our negligence.

Cancellations, date changes and refunds follow our cancellation policy.

We take reasonable care to keep the property safe and as described. Our total liability to you for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law doesn't allow this limit (for example, for death or injury caused by our negligence).

We aren't responsible for events outside our control, such as weather, landslides, road closures, power or internet outages from the grid or provider, or government orders. If one of these stops your stay, see the cancellation policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh. We'd always rather sort things out directly first, so please talk to us.
